Having adopted the shadows, the melanistic black leopard is one that eludes all. Clandestine its approach, it dissolves impeccably within darkness of the night, moving silently through the thickets of the forest floor.

While we’re certain that the elusive Black Leopard is the main attraction here, Nagarhole’s beauty is beyond measure. Playing host to a plethora wildlife including Tigers, Asian Elephants, Wild Dogs, along with a medley of birds, plants and reptiles, navigating this biodiverse region under dense canopy of the forest cover, is sure to leave you in a spell of enchantment.

Day 1 : Arrive Bangalore (by flight)

On arrival at Bangalore International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with your check in at the hotel. Once briefed regarding your tour, you will receive all the travel related documents. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bangalore.

Day 2 : Nagarhole (Flight + 270 Kms/6.5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to Nagarhole National Park. On arrival check into the Kabini River Lodge. Post lunch, head out for your afternoon shared jeep safari /Jungle Activity within the national park.

Day 3-6 : In Nagarhole

The day includes all meals, morning and afternoon jeep safari/activities. Overnight at Kabini River Lodge.

Nagarhole National Park (also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park), is a wildlife abode located in Kodagu district and Mysore district of Karnataka, India. It is one of India's premier Tiger Reserves along with the adjoining Bandipur Tiger Reserve. This park was declared the thirty seventh Project Tiger reserve of India in 1999. It is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere that plays host to a plethora of flora and fauna. The Western Ghats Nilgiri Sub-Cluster of 6,000 km2 (2,300 sq. mi), including all of Nagarhole National Park, is under consideration by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee for selection as a World Heritage Site.

Day 7 : Nagarhole – Bangalore – Fly back (by surface, 270 Kms/6.5 hrs drive)

Morning safari / Jungle activity in the park, return to the lodge, check out, and drive to Bangalore to board a flight back home via New Delhi.

  • Bandhavgarh, Pench & Kanha National Parks are closed for afternoon safaris on Wednesdays.
  • Tiger Journey reserves the right to change the hotels, lodges to similar category in case of no availability.
  • Tiger Journey reserves the right to reroute the itinerary in case of non-availability of Flight/ Train tickets or other reasons of similar nature.
  • Park fees may change without prior notice. This is beyond our control and any increase levied will be passed onto you.
  • There are limited safari vehicles allowed to enter in the national parks and are most difficult to book at a short notice. Please book your tour much in advance.
  • The published price is not applicable during the Christmas and the New Year period.
